The Special Education: Students with Disabilities (All Grades) Initial Teaching Certification and Students with Disabilities Subject Area Extensions are designed for individuals who hold a bachelor’s degree in any field and want to become certified special education teachers. This program equips you with the skills and knowledge to teach Students with Disabilities in Grades PreK-12 and offers optional subject area extensions for Grades 5-9 and 7-12 in various subjects.

- You’ve completed (or are willing to complete) six credit hours in foundational coursework in English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
